United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN-WTO) predicts that Indonesia tourism sector will grow 5-6 percent or three points above the growth of world tourism.
Moreover, UN-WTO on the occasion of ITB Berlin 2010 was also submitted to the RI praise for its ability to sustain the growth of tourism sector amid the global crisis, in which the world in general has decreased tourism sector growth to 4 percent in 2009.

UN-WTO express appreciation to the number of foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia in 2009 which did not decline or reach 6.4 million. Whereas Indonesian tourism to grow in the double crisis of the global financial crisis and bombing cases or acts of terrorism in the middle of the year 2009.
“UN-WTO believes other countries should learn to Indonesia in terms of building tourism in times of crisis,” said I Gde Pitana.
